Cooperative carrion crow repertoire: call type examples

This page provides audio examples for our preprint on repertoire-wide contextual mapping in cooperative crows. For each call type discovered in the study, we sampled examples from the annotated dataset. Each spectrogram shows a five-second window centered on the sampled vocalization. The blue bars indicate detected instances of the call type within the window.

Click the spectrograms to hear the sounds. All sounds were normalized for a smoother listening experience. This means overall amplitude differences between call types will not be audible, but they will be visible in the spectrogram.
